My love for white serving dishes started back in college. I worked at a small boutique and the owner had an amazing eye for home goods. At the top of her list were white dishes in every shape and size imaginable – square, rectangle, bowl, cake stand.
I was sold and started my own collection. It is the perfect blank canvas for every dish. They really are the entertainer’s dream.
Since the holiday season is nearly upon us, I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite white cake stands.
I love the variety of whites – true white all the way to soft white. I love the simple details – the dots, the fluted edges, the etchings. I love the variety of shapes – from the organic circle to the soft square.
Most of all, I love the versatility. Obviously, these are great for cakes. But stacked one on top of the other, they are the perfect cupcake tier. And I love the idea of taking the cheese board and making it vertical.
